Crush rolled into onto the big stage at the Williamsburg Starz Fall Showcase followed by the Diamond Classic Fall Showcase at Tyger Park, Spartansburg, SC.  The team drew Team NC Baylog at both showcases losing 4-3 in Richmond followed by a pitcher duo in Spartansburg losing to a walk off home run in the 7 inning losing 2-0.  Prior to this loss Crush handled USA Junior Nationals Carolina Elite Fusetti with a 2-1 win.  Both these showing were subsequent to win over Gold Coast Hurricane 11-0 at an Elon University friendly.  The Crush rolls to Scenic City Fall Showcase in Chattanooga Tn on November 4th for the final 2017 tournament.    Hope to see you at the ballpark.

Maroon Crush Ball play up in 18U Scrapper Showcase in Salem Virginia.  As a team they batted .434 with a.566 slugging percentage, with an ERA 2.04,  .244 BAA, 1.375 WHIP.  The team outscored its opponents 38 to 13 runs for the tournament in preparation for the Diamond Classic in Spartanburg, SC on Oct 21st and the Scenic City Fall Showcase on Nov 4th to round out the Fall schedule.

The Crush travels to Elon University to play up in an 18U Friendly against Gulf Coast Hurricane out of Miami, Team PA, and Carolina Wildcats. The team took wins against Gulf Coast Hurricanes 11-0, Team PA 9-3, and a loss against Carolina Wildcats 7-3. Accompanying the team was Elon commit Megan Grant, and catcher prospect Katie Cole.

The Crush took it on the road to Williamsburg, VA where they showcased in a friendly games with Carolina Elite, Lady Hornets, and the Wildcats in front of 20 college coaches.  Next Up Atlanta Legacy.

Crush wins ASA 18U Salem State Fair tournament in grand fashion after losing one earlier pool game pushing them through the loser bracket needing to play 7 consecutive games to win the championship. The team had Mikkie Cashwell go down with injury after making an amazing catch attempt over the fence for a home run. The team pursued on batting .404, slg .577, with 9 HR, and 79 runs scored against only 32 allowed.  The opponent BAA was held to .294 with a 1.56 WHIP, 43 KO, with 19 BB.  The team will use the momentum going into the Williamsburg Starz Summer Showcase followed by Atlanta Legacy tournament.

Coach Jason said this after the game.  I'm sure the girls will sleep in (they deserve it) just wanted to say, yesterday was amazing, winning the tournament was great but it was more than that. To play 7 games in 12 hours in the heat, to battle each game , not letting up an inning, to pitch the way we did ( 3 awesome pitchers), making some great defensive plays at critical times of the games , hitting the ball  (from home runs ( not sure how many but each was big) , 2- out hitting , moving runners over ) , these girls were past tired, feet hurting, knees hurting, body aching but kept playing and playing. Every girl contributed and gave everything they had , just a total team effort. Proud of these girls!!!!

2017 ASA VIRGINIA 16U STATE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!

In a rain drenched weekend in Richmond, the Crush rising soph/junior (1Senior) persevered at 1:30am Monday morning in bracket play outlasting the rising senior team of  Elite 16u Inman to win the Virginia ASA State Championship 1-0. In bracket play the Crush also took wins against the likes of Hampton Roads Frontline (3rd place), our friends to the south - Diamond Fever (4th place, along with the  Lady Hornets Jones, and Virginia Glory Elias.What's this item about? After taking 8th place in Scenic City Summer Showcase in Chattanooga TN out of 160 teams the group will now head to the Atlanta Legacy Showcase.

Crush went to Chattanooga TN intent on demonstrating that they belong amongst an elite group of athletes and they didn't disappoint.  In Open Pool play Crush finished in 1st place at 4-1-1 earning a bye into bracket play. In pool play the team scored 25 runs and allowed 14 runs.  

First up in bracket play was Carolina Elite - Pack were Crush won 4-1 in 5 innings of play.  That was followed by a 6-0 loss to Team Tampa Hernandez who eventually went all the way to the championship before losing out to Team NC Carter.  Up next Virginia ASA States in Richmond VA.

The Crush has accepted invitations to play in three big college showcases this summer to include Atlanta legacy, Scenic City , and Williamsburg Starz Showcase.  Shout out to Coach Riley (Longwood), Thomas (VT), and Dean (JMU) for making the application complete with awesome recommendation letters.

Coach Ball welcomes Mara Strum 2019 Virginia Tech Pitcher / 1st Base verbal commitment to the team.  Mara has been a long time competitor against the Crush starting with Class Action Scrappers and recently with Team NC Holmes.  We are elated to have her on our side of the field and look forward bigger and better things for the team with the addition of Mara.  Welcome aboard.....

Congratulations Liv on your commitment to play softball at Louisburg College.  Liv finished 2016 with .430 Avg, .605 slugging, and 24 RBI.  On her pitching for Crush Liv had a 2.45 ERA, .223 BAA, and 1.286 WHIP.  As team elder Liv served as an awesome role model and we look for you to do great things at Louisburg College.  We will miss your presence and steadfast leadership on the field as the team continues on it journey.,....

Impressive showing at Williamburgs Starz Invitationals. Time 1:25 drop dead.  This was a pitching duo tournament with the first game lost against Hanover Hornets 16u 1-0, followed by a 3-0 loss to the Starz Gold 16U, and a 10-0 win against the Starz 14u. Team ERA 2.12, BAA .217, and WHIP .882. Bats were quiet at BA .197 with OBP .354. Built a couple great connections with George Mason and Radford University.

Crush will be playing in the Starz Williamsburg Fall Invitational Sept 17th along with Starz Gold, Sarasota Heat, Hanover Hornets, Lady Lightning Gold & Futures, Wagners - Allender, Team Glory, Elite Black, and Orion Hunter. Our appreciation goes out to Coach Bunn for the invite to play at their Elite Invitational.

Thanks to Elon University, Coach Bocock, Jacobson, Johnson, and players for an awesome experience and campus tour.  In the process of meeting some new friends Crush was able to break out the gloves and sticks in a freindlies game with Williamsburg Starz 16 Hill and 14U Campbell Gold teams and Team NC Carter.  The tournament was 1 hour 30 min - drop dead time limit.  In the three games played over the coarse of the day Crush socred 17 runs while only allowing 7 runs - best in the series.  The team batted .333 while BAA was .246. With 16 innings of play the team ERA was 1.62 with a WHIP of 1.26.  We had some awesome play from players filling roles for teammates unable to attend.  We look forward to having everyone back in action but can't stress enough the importance of practicing to wear anybodies shoes on a moments notice.  Looking to share game video shortly.

Elon University has invited us to their complex 9/4 for a 3 game friendly with some other top teams in the area. This is awesome opportunity to be in front of D1 coaches for a day to show them what we have & can do!

Great to  be back home with our freinds and classmates.  Crush goes 5-0-1 on the weekend where the competition is always tough.  .The team baatted .409 as a group scoring 32 runs and giving up 15 runs.  How does a defensive opponent spell Fear? (LEXI).  We have some pretty cool new tools in our tool box.

The Crush had a large number of girls come out for tryouts for their respective age groups.  The 16U Elite team added Katie Cole (catcher/1st) previously with Lake County Crusher and 3G's, Liv Garman (Pitcher) formally with Maroon Crush Ball 18U, and Lexi West (Outfielder) formally with Maroon Crush 18u Ball and 16U Scrappers.  The bats are expected to increase an already strong team .351 BA, strenthen the pitching rotation, and add a ton of speed to the outfield and base pads.
